What We Offer
Salary:£15,927 rising to £16,261 per year (Full time equivalent £25,304 - £25,835 per year)
Contract Type:Permanent, Part Time 26 hours per week, Term Time Only 36+3 weeks per year
Working pattern:Mon 8.30-1.30 no breaks (5) Tue - off Wed 8.30-16.00 - 30 min break (7) Thurs - 1230-20.00 - 30 min break (7) Fri 8.30-16.00 - 30 min break (Subject to change annually based on business need/timetabling)
Year-Round Employment: No unpaid breaks between contracts

What Youll Do
Prepare salon areas and equipment for daily teaching sessions
Support lecturers and students during practical hairdressing sessions
Maintain and clean salon tools, equipment, and workstations
Monitor and manage stock levels of salon products and supplies
Ensure compliance with health & safety, COSHH, and hygiene regulations
Launder and maintain salon towels, gowns, and uniforms
Assist in maintaining a professional, client-ready salon environment
Support ordering and organisation of equipment and materials
What Youll Bring
Experience in a hairdressing or salon environment
Knowledge of professional salon standards and hygiene practices
A highly organised and proactive approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching and technical support team
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
A relevant hairdressing qualification Level 2 or above.
