Salary: £30,000-£35,000 Permanent and full time 35-hour work week with flexibility around core hours Full study support will be offered upon successful completion of probationary period Main Duties: You'll play a vital role in delivering accounting, audit, and tax services, with hands-on responsibility across a range of clients and sectors. Key duties include: Managing a small client portfolio, providing tailored advice and support Preparing year-end financial statements and corporation tax returns Producing management accounts, VAT and CIS returns Preparing self-assessment and partnership tax returns Using cloud-based systems to deliver efficient and accurate work Supporting clients with accounting system queries and ad-hoc financial tasks Collaborating with the wider team and maintaining strong client relationships Essential Skills and Experience required: At least 2 years' experience in accountancy practice Part-qualified ACA/ACCA, or AAT qualified and progressing further Solid understanding of current accounting and auditing standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks (IRIS is a plus) Excellent communication, organisation, and teamworking skills A friendly, professional attitude and a genuine passion for client service
