The Senior Director, Managed Access Programs (MAPs) will partner to develop strategy and lead global implementation of Managed Access Programs across multiple disease areas. This role supports the company's health equity ambition, ensuring that patients with unmet needs receive access to our innovative medicines in a compliant and ethical manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (WW TA, DD, legal, compliance, RCO, Country medical teams) to define and develop the managed access strategy for assets across multiple diseases.
* Ensure the managed access strategy receives input from all required partners and undergoes appropriate review and governance processes.
* Partner with GDO/RCO to operationalize managed access programs for respective disease areas, ensuring compliance with country rules.
* Implement standardized policies, procedures, and best practices across the portfolio of managed access programs.
* Establish and track KPIs to measure program success and use data and analytics to optimize MAPs.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless program execution and regulatory compliance.
* Optimize data capture and evidence generation to support the value of assets while complying with regulatory and privacy laws.
* Provide training and support to internal teams on MAP processes and best practices.
* Foster an innovative culture and lead initiatives to enhance MAP approaches.
Qualifications
* Degree in Life Sciences, Patient Access, Pharmacy, Public Health, or related field.
* Minimum of 7+ years experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 3 years in managed access.
* Proven track record of successfully managing MAPs across a disease area.
* In-depth knowledge of global and local regulations and guidelines related to Managed Access Programs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Compensation Overview
Madison - Giralda, NJ, US: $229,380 – $277,956. Princeton, NJ, US: $229,380 – $277,956. Starting compensation is a range of $229,380–$278,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities. Final individual compensation will be based on demonstrated experience.
