Job Title: Consumer Strategist- Neuroscience
Location: 2-3 days in the office in Basingstoke

Role Overview: The Consumer Strategist – Neuroscience is responsible for placing consumers at the centre of business strategy by understanding their behaviours, attitudes, and needs. This involves identifying key problems to solve, developing actionable insights, and delivering experiences that are impactful, relevant, and intuitive. The role partners closely with brand teams and cross-functional colleagues to embed a consumer-first mindset across the organisation, building capability as initiatives are executed. This position covers the Northern European Hub, including the UK and Nordic markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a deep understanding of consumers within Neuroscience (Alzheimer’s and Dementia), using segmentation, personas, detailed consumer journeys, and ecosystem mapping.
* Create a 5-year strategy for consumer engagement in the neuroscience area.
* Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of consumer campaigns across key channels by:
* Collaborating with media agencies to develop effective plans
* Working with creative agencies to localise global content and produce locally relevant assets with strong amplification and impact
* Ensuring all content complies with legal and regulatory requirements
* Partnering with BI&A teams to measure, monitor, and optimise campaigns for continuous improvement
* Work closely with internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, Market Research, Digital, Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal) and external partners (agencies, vendors) to ensure alignment, clarity, and execution excellence.
* Build consumer-centric capabilities within the team by demonstrating processes, tools, and techniques that prioritise the consumer.
* Monitor external trends in neuroscience and healthcare, adjusting strategies as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree
* 10+ years of experience in consumer marketing within a healthcare/ pharmaceutical setting
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven record of motivating and developing high-performing teams
* In-depth knowledge of consumer data, insights, and planning tools
* Experience working with media, creative, and research agencies
* High proficiency in data analysis and translating insights into actionable recommendations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
* Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
