As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students’ learning, help regulate their behavior, and create a safe environment conducive to growth.
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for working with young people with SEMH needs.
* Excellent communication skills and shared interests such as sports, gaming, music, fitness, the outdoors, horse riding, or sailing.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development.
Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferable)
* GCSEs in English & Maths
* Minimum 1 year working with children
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (or willingness to complete)
Eligibility:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child-related references
