We are looking for a Health & Safety Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Health & Safety Manager, will be responsible for:
* Engagement across the team from the management to the shop floor to our contractor supply chain
* Leading on programmes of work and new initiatives across health and safety
* Managing a regular audit and reporting program safety
* Managing and delivering appropriate training programmes
* Undertaking investigations of site incidents and accidents
* Regular Gemba's of the site
* Manage and maintain the COSHH register
* Ensure all relevant site files are in place and up to date for all service lines
* Performance audits on permits
To be successful for this Health & Safety Manager role you must have:
* Safety and/or environmental bias in previous roles.
* NEBOSH Certificate essential or equivalent level 3 qualification.
* Strong technical / engineering understanding in a manufacturing / pharmaceutical environment
* Evidence of practical audit / inspection
* Experience in delivery of QHSE
* Broad experience and expertise in incident investigation and root cause analysis
* Experience of Integrated Facilities Management sector, in particular Hard or Soft Services where applicable
* Detailed knowledge of risk assessment
