We're working in partnership with a thriving sixth form college in the heart of Kensington to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide tailored academic and pastoral support to students enrolled in Health and Social Care courses. The Role: As a Health and Social Care LSA, you will: * Support students aged 16-19 with a range of learning needs, including SEN, in both classroom and 1:1 settings. * Assist in delivering engaging and practical learning sessions alongside subject teachers. * Encourage student independence, participation, and motivation in lessons. * Help prepare resources and adapt materials to meet individual learning styles and needs. * Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, aligned with safeguarding and equality standards. ✅ Requirements: * Previous experience supporting students in a post-16 or secondary setting is highly desirable. * A background in Health and Social Care, Psychology, or a related field is an advantage. * Empathetic, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with young people. * A proactive approach and genuine passion for education and student development. * A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to undergo checks.
