Unit Manager Care Home (RGN/RMN/RNLD) Location: Watton, Norfolk S alary: £50,000 per annum Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced and compassionate Nurse Leader looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a dedicated Unit Manager to join our established care team and assist the Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations of one of our care home units. Key Responsibilities: Support the Home Manager in delivering outstanding nursing and clinical care. Implement effective clinical governance policies and ensure adherence to NMC guidelines and NICE standards. Mentor and support nurses and carers, delivering training in medication administration, wound care, and clinical assessments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and ensure care plans are person-centred and regulatory compliant. Regularly monitor clinical standards and proactively address areas for improvement. Foster a positive, inclusive team environment, encouraging staff development and retention. Act as a clinical role model, leading by example in high standards of care delivery. What Were Looking For: NMC-registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with relevant post-registration experience. Proven experience in a leadership or Unit Manager role within a care home or similar setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to person-centred care. Confident mentor and coach, able to inspire and develop your team. Skilled in electronic care planning and general IT systems.
