Job Title: Radar Systems Mathematical Modeller
Location: Cowes
Salary: Up to £40,000 dependent on experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Conduct mathematical modelling and simulation development to devise and evolve algorithmic and design solutions for complex radar systems.
* Utilise mathematical modelling and simulation to identify and develop performance enhancements and innovative solutions to improve radar capabilities and future technologies.
* Develop novel solutions to technical challenges faced by our customer community.
* Support multidisciplinary engineering teams in implementing and validating solutions for deployable radar systems.
* Analyze system performance using integration and post-trial data to inform design solutions and generate customer acceptance evidence.
Your skills and experiences:
* Strong mathematical and engineering mindset with an innovative approach to problem-solving, applicable to mathematical and physics-based problems.
* Experience with simulation tools/languages such as MATLAB, Simulink, Pearl, Python, MathCAD.
* Understanding of modelling and simulating real-world physical problems, specifically with radar systems.
* Relevant STEM education or equivalent experience.

The Systems Modelling & Simulation team:
You will work within a radar product team of interdisciplinary engineers, contributing to new and existing products, with opportunities for career development within Maritime Services and the wider company.
