Bay House Dental Practice is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a friendly, organised, and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist to join our small, welcoming team.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and supporting the smooth, professional operation of our front desk.
Our friendly, 3-surgery practice provides care to both NHS and private patients, and you will work alongside highly skilled and supportive clinical team in a modern, well-equipped environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
* Handle patient enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email in a courteous and helpful manner
* Schedule, manage, and confirm appointments efficiently using our dental software
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Process payments and manage outstanding accounts
* Ensure the reception and waiting areas are tidy and presentable at all times
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Dental or healthcare reception experience preferred but not essential – full training will be provided
* Outstanding customer service skills and communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* A confident, compassionate, and empathetic approach to patient care
* Comfortable using IT systems (training will be provided on our dental software)
