Trainee Project Planner
Location: Bristol and Glasgow
The ideal candidate will have active SC Clearance or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance.
The Experis Academy offers an exciting opportunity for delivery-oriented individuals to be trained and upskilled as Project Planners in the clean energy, defence, and civil decommissioning sectors. You will support Project Planning activities within a delivery environment, collaborating with like-minded professionals to solve complex problems in nuclear and infrastructure projects.
Training will be provided in project, programme, and portfolio management (P3M), including tools like Primavera and Excel, along with soft skills such as negotiation, presentation, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution through scenario-based workshops.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities include:
* Implementing and maintaining project structures
* Developing and maintaining the integrated project schedule
* Aligning scheduling tools with financial and material demand systems
* Providing regular schedule status updates and impact metrics
* Creating resource and cost-loaded schedules for financial and project status reporting
