We’re looking for an Accounts Executive who is wanting to further develop their skills, broaden their experience and play a key role in delivering high-quality client service. Key Responsibilities Management of Allocated Portfolio Monitor and meet reporting deadlines, advising clients where needed. Review planning documentation, working papers and financial statements. Review VAT and tax computations, providing feedback and ensuring accuracy. Review client management accounts and analytical review processes. Ensure all files are completed and signed off in line with firm procedures. Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and internal procedures. Attend client meetings alongside Partners/Directors where appropriate. Complete fee invoices aligned to service plans. Leadership, Mentoring & Collaboration Support the development of team members Provide constructive feedback for junior members of the team. Share knowledge, expertise and best practices. Act as a role model, demonstrating core competencies and positive behaviours. Build and maintain a strong internal network across the organisation. Client Relationship Management & Delivery Act as the main point of contact for your portfolio of clients. Respond promptly to client queries, building strong, trusted relationships. Identify opportunities for additional work or services. Manage internal referrals appropriately. Take ownership of client issues, providing effective solutions. Seek and act on client feedback to continuously improve service delivery. Uphold and role‑model excellent client service standards. What We’re Looking For Fully qualified ACCA or ICAEW or qualified by experience Experience using CaseWare and CCH is advantageous Strong experience in accountancy practice Excellent technical knowledge of UK GAAP and statutory accounts. Confident communication skills and a proactive approach to client service. Ability to plan workload and manage competing deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft office particularly Excel A collaborative mindset with a commitment to mentoring others.
