About the role:
We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager-to-learn Motor Applications graduates. The scheme aims to provide the successful applicant with on-the-job guidance and teaching to improve the expertise you will already have. Our R+D Facilities are a fantastic place to learn, develop and grow.
Your time will be primarily focused on growing your knowledge of Electrical and Electromechanical Engineering, plus broadening your knowledge in a manufacturing setting. In addition to receiving first class training, we will also provide you with exposure to our senior leaders across the business, providing you with an opportunity to showcase your talents.
The Opportunity:
* Participate and continue with own learning and studies whilst completing a range of routine duties and tasks.
* Work with and learn from our Motor Engineer to become an expert in electric motor test techniques.
* Manage and document complete motor validation programs.
* Assist in developing new motor validation tests.
* Develop skills to specify and qualify electric motors for use in Numatic products.
* Learn how to write motor specifications and communicate with suppliers to assess solutions.
* Work within project teams to help develop products and ensure efficient motor application.
* Listen to feedback to gain skills and improve own knowledge on design and project work.
* Engage with and learn from internal specialists, to ensure own knowledge base is solution focused on supporting continuous improvement through innovation and commercialisation.
* Ensure attention to detail, seek feedback on rectification of error when engaged on project work.
* Use creativity; develop interests in your area of specialism.
* Develop & drive continuous improvement for best practice design guidelines.

This role will be based at our Head Office campus in the heart of Somerset, in Chard.
