Overview
Managing QS to join our commercial team on the Clyde framework at Faslane.
Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee cost planning, budgeting and cost control process for multi-disciplinary design, construction and Infrastructure projects.
* Assist in the preparation and negotiation of both Client Contracts and Subcontracts
* Prepare and negotiate quotations and variations in accordance with project requirements
* Build and maintain positive relationships with Clients, Contractors and Designers.
* Ensure project compliance with regulations, standards and company policies.
* Analyse and report on project cost, value, risk and overall performance.
To thrive in the role you will have
* Degree in Quantity Surveying.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of NEC Construction Contracts.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Manage junior members of staff.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
