Are you a compassionate, creative teacher who believes every young person deserves the chance to thrive? We’re looking for a dedicated Nurture Teacher to join a supportive SEN secondary school in Redhill, working with students who follow a primary-style curriculum model within a secondary setting.

The Role
You’ll be teaching a small group of secondary-aged students with special educational needs, delivering a nurture-based, primary-model curriculum. Your timetable will include:
* English & Maths (core focus)
* Humanities
* Food Technology (practical, life-skills-based learning)
* Supporting and facilitating PE sessions (no need to lead or plan these)
* Collaborating with specialist Science teachers who deliver Science separately
This is a highly rewarding role where flexibility, patience, and creativity are key.

Working Hours
* 40 hours per week
* Start time: 8:15am
* Finish times:
o Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 4:45pm
o Tuesday: 5:00pm
o Friday: 4:00pm

What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Proven experience working with SEN students, ideally in a nurture or alternative provision setting
* Ability to adapt lessons to meet a wide range of needs and abilities
* A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Strong relationship-building skills—this role is as much about connection as it is about teaching
