The Opportunity: Financial Accountant Team Leader

The Impact you will have:
1. Manage a team of two and conduct performance reviews as per company standards.
2. Handle accounting for parts and engineering, including inventory, WIP, revenues, and costs.
3. Manage daily cash balances to ensure sufficient funds.
4. Complete Irish entity drawdowns for Southern Ireland.
5. Review and manage Irish cashflow forecasts, including capex, HP, and daybook uploads.
6. Consolidate all entities' cashflows into a group file to monitor headroom with Wells Fargo, ensuring compliance with ABL covenants.
7. Reconcile weekly availability/loan data between Wells Fargo reports and cashflow; perform daily reconciliations of the ABL loan and collateral ledger.
8. Complete monthly Irish Borrowing Base Certificates for Wells Fargo.
9. Onboard new entities into the Irish online banking system and assist with onboarding onto the ABL agreement.
10. Manage foreign currency requirements for Ireland.
11. Reconcile monthly ABL transactions with the general ledger and post amortisation of fees.
12. Prepare monthly group funding reports and support during meetings.
13. Lead external quarterly banking audits with Wells Fargo.
14. Forecast future cash needs and assist with cash management in England and Wales.
15. Reconcile third-party/finance agreements and group HP schedules monthly, ensuring covenant compliance.
16. Reconcile monthly interest accruals.
17. Administer Southern Ireland's online banking and support UK online banking activities.
18. Provide treasury support for Ireland and cover UK treasury activities as needed.
19. Perform other ad-hoc ledger and treasury duties as required.
What will help you to excel in this role:
1. Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA).
2. Substantial experience in financial accounting at trial balance and management accounts level.
3. Significant treasury experience.
4. Advanced Excel skills.
5. Strong understanding of processes and accounting principles.
6. Experience working in a busy, pressured finance environment.
7. High attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Analytical, commercial, and flexible approach.
