Job Title: Linisher / Metal Polisher
Location: Near Birmingham City Centre (easily accessible by public transport)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time | Temp to Perm
We are currently seeking an experienced Linisher / Metal Polisher to join a busy and well-established metal workshop located near Birmingham City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual looking for secure, long-term employment. The role offers an immediate start and the potential to become permanent after a successful trial period.
Responsibilities
* Polishing and finishing a variety of metal components to a high standard
* Operating a lathe polishing machine (experience with this equipment is essential)
* Following detailed specifications and maintaining quality standards
* Ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
* Assisting with general workshop duties as needed
Requirements
* Proven experience as a metal polisher or linisher
* Must have hands-on experience using lathe polishing machines
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
