Position : Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician

Salary : £42,500 to £45,000 according to experience
About the role of a Maintenance Engineer / Technician in a Manufacturing Plant in Southampton :
* Maintain, service and repair all production equipment on site
* Assist with the maintenance of all ancillary equipment / facilities across the site.
* Develop, implement, and adhere to a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule.
* Respond to equipment breakdowns and call-outs, recording and reporting on faults to identify trends
* Carry out general site maintenance and engineering projects as required
* Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives where required
* Ensure full compliance health and safety requirements, and with internal and external quality standards.
About You
* Holds a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671).
* Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment
* Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
* A knowledge of PLC systems and control panels is preferred
* Full UK driving licence and own transport
