My client is a UK manufacturer of a wide range of plastic products across many categories such as Home, Garden and Storage. Specialising in plastic products, the business is a leading supplier of watering cans, storage boxes, baby baths to large retailers across the UK and internationally. All product development is carried out in-house and bespoke, own label products as well as branded products are produced for their customers in the UK.
Role Summary
Due to a re‑structure, my client would like to recruit a National Account Manager. The key role will involve selling a range of own‑label and branded homewares/garden products to a diverse customer base across the grocery, DIY, homewares and garden sectors. You will be expected to grow the turnover of existing business accounts and prospect for new business.
The ideal candidate will already be a proven National Account Manager with strong experience of consumer goods products. They will be tough, hungry, down to earth and straight talking. The business can offer a competitive salary and a very good bonus scheme paid quarterly. The role is home based with two days a week in the office in the Midlands.

* Recent experience in selling homewares or garden products or similar into national retailers.
* Excellent account management skills.
* Proven track record in developing sales with new and existing accounts.
* Strong relationship builder.

Key Requirements for the role
* Proficient with all major Microsoft programmes e.g. Word, Powerpoint, Publisher.
* Previous experience with Excel is essential.
* Self‑motivated and well organised.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail is essential.
