About the Role Were recruiting on behalf of a well-established provider of childrens residential care for young people with learning disabilities, autism, and emotional or behavioural needs.
As a Deputy Manager, youll assist the Registered Manager in running the home, supervising staff, and ensuring outstanding care and compliance with Ofsted standards.
Main Responsibilities Support and supervise residential staff teams.
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care for young people aged 718.
Promote positive behaviour and ensure safeguarding compliance.
Oversee care planning, documentation, and staff performance.
Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins (£50 per night).
Requirements Essential:
Experience in childrens residential care.
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce (or equivalent).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted standards.
Flexibility for shifts and sleep-ins.
Desirable:
Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or willing to complete).
Experience in a Senior or Deputy role.
Full UK driving licence.
