Hunter James Recruitment are assisting our client - a well-established organisation within the Automotive industry with their search for a Workshop Controller to join their fantastic team within thier site in Swindon THE ROLE: * Day to day management of the Workshop and Service department * Improve and optimize on standards / performance of the service team through effective performance management and development * Cultivate successful business culture focused on customer service excellence, customer retention and new business for both workshop and parts * Optimize and improve customer service standards and ensure the departments run in according with company standards and key performance indicators. * Operating to achieve a very high KPI standard including MOT Pass Rate / Breakdown results whilst maintain the company’s standard at all times * Increase efficiency, effectiveness and profitability of the depots * Regular review resources in order to meeting all servicing requirements to ensure that key performance indicators are met – consistently reviewing labour efficiency, labour sales, cost of sales, debtors. * Carry out internal audits to ensures depots are fully complaint in terms of both ISO and Health & Safety * Reporting directly to directors and keeping all parties updated with constant communication * Maximise commercial opportunities through developing and implementing campai...
