Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility can perform a range of maintenance checks, modifications, and upgrades. Located just 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is well-positioned to support operators in the UK and beyond.
In your role, you will:
* Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
* Perform and document all work according to manuals and regulations.
* Train, coach, and support other employees.
* Perform complete engine runs as required.
* Carry out complex repairs on aircraft systems.
* Supervise Mechanics during maintenance tasks and ensure standards are met.
* Release maintenance tasks performed by yourself or under supervision, if trained and authorized.
* Sign off base maintenance tasks in support of Certifying Staff Category C.
* Perform maintenance at off-site locations.
* Assist in providing time estimates.
As our ideal candidate, you:
* Hold a UK CAA and/or EASA Part 66 Aircraft Technician License: B1, B2, and/or C.
* Are type-rated on relevant Bombardier Business Aircraft Types, including Challenger 300, Challenger 600, and Global series (preferred).
* Have up-to-date knowledge of Appendix I to Part-66.
* Have basic knowledge of Part-M, Part-145, and other relevant regulations.
* Have at least 6 months of relevant aircraft or component maintenance experience within the last two years.
* Understand human factors, human performance, and limitations.
* Have knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL where relevant.
* Have recent experience working on at least one aircraft type per license category.
* Are current on all training requirements.
* Can interpret and work with engineering drawings.
* Communicate effectively in writing and verbally regarding tasks and aircraft status.
* Proficient in using standard and special tools, and operating ground support equipment.
* Work according to maintenance data and report defects or issues.
* Possess computer skills for information systems.
