Overview – Social Media Manager
Forsyth Barnes are partnering with a market-leading organisation in the hair and beauty sector to find a creative and strategic Social Media Manager. This is a key role focused on driving digital engagement, leading impactful social campaigns, and elevating brand visibility across a portfolio of well-known consumer brands. This role is based full-time in Leeds with an immediate start preferred.
Responsibilities – Social Media Manager
Develop and execute a multi-brand social media and PR strategy
Manage and mentor a small team within the digital and PR division
Oversee and grow assigned social media accounts with platform-specific content
Build and maintain strong media, influencer, and industry relationships
Write compelling press releases, influencer briefs, and media communications
Deliver integrated campaigns for product launches and brand initiatives
Represent the brand at events and activations as a key ambassador
Monitor social trends and optimise content strategy accordingly
Work cross-functionally with brand, sales, and education teams
Leverage analytics and AI tools to inform content, efficiency, and strategy
Key Requirements – Social Media Manager
~3+ years’ experience in a strategic social media role
~ Proven success managing accounts and delivering brand growth
~ Strong network within media, PR, or influencer space
~ Passion and knowledge of the hair and beauty industry
