About the Role:
This is a solicitor/advocate role with a strong focus on public law children matters. You’ll manage your own caseload involving care proceedings, guardianship issues, and a mix of legal aid and privately funded work. Regular court advocacy is a key part of the role, and you’ll be supported by a knowledgeable and approachable team. There’s also the option to contribute to business development and team growth if that’s something you enjoy.
What this firm are looking for:
1. Children Panel membership – essential
2. At least 3 years’ PQE in family law
3. Solid advocacy skills and experience acting as a Solicitor/Advocate
4. Previous involvement in guardianship and child care proceedings
5. A good understanding of legal aid processes
6. Confident managing sensitive and sometimes complex client matters
7. Strong communication and time management skills
