Certus Education are working with a specialist SEND school in Northfield, Birmingham who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.

The Role
*
Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
*
Providing 1:1 and small group support in the classroom
*
Assisting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, learning difficulties, or complex needs
*
Supporting communication, emotional regulation and behaviour
*
Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored learning support
The Ideal Candidate
*
Previous experience working with children with SEN / SEND
*
Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, or additional learning needs is desirable
*
A patient, caring and resilient approach
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
