1. Up To £23 Per Hour
2. Rotating Shifts 6am - 2.30pm Monday To Friday / 2.30pm - 11pm
3. Overtime Paid x 1.5 Monday To Saturday & x 2.0 Sundays & Bank Holidays

14. Support for developing young trainees and apprentices
Duties as a HGV Technician will include:
15. Conduct repairs and maintenance on HGVs in accordance with manufacturer procedures
16. Perform fault diagnosis using advanced tools and techniques
17. Assist in road tests where HGV licences are held
18. Ensure full compliance with warranty procedures and record all work accurately
19. Support parts team to ensure correct replacement parts are fitted
20. Complete all job cards and service sheets according to Volvo standards
21. Report vehicle defects and ensure workshop facilities are maintained to high standards
22. Support roadside breakdowns as required
23. Contribute to the development of new trainees and apprentices
Requirements that the HGV Technician will need:
24. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
25. Proven experience as an HGV Technician, ideally with Volvo experience but not essential
26. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
27. Proactive with excellent attention to safety and customer service
28. Full UK driving licence; HGV licence preferred but not essential
29. Ability to work effectively within a team and follow health and safety guidelines
