The role
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will use your advanced clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of health conditions. By offering timely care, you’ll help patients access treatment quickly and often avoid the need for GP referral.
Key responsibilities include:
* Running triage, telephone, and face-to-face consultations
* Assessing, diagnosing, and managing both acute and chronic conditions
* Acting as an independent prescriber, ensuring safe and effective prescribing
* Ordering and interpreting diagnostic investigations such as bloods and cultures
* Supporting patients with health education, long-term condition management, and preventative care
* Delivering vaccinations, health screening, and self-care advice
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across the healthcare team
What we’re looking for
* NMC-registered nurse with Advanced Clinical Practice and/or Non-Medical Prescriber qualification
* Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Primary Care setting
* Skilled in managing patients of all ages, including children (desirable)
* Strong communicator with a compassionate approach to patient care
