We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Hospitality Assistant who wants more than just a job — someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great service, and wants to make a real difference to residents’ daily experience. You’ll play an important role in creating a warm, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone in the home. In this role, you’ll support with meal service, refreshments, and the overall dining experience, while also helping to maintain clean, tidy, and inviting communal areas. You’ll interact with residents throughout the day, offering a friendly face and ensuring they feel valued, comfortable, and well cared for. This is a 30-hour contract at £13.50 per hour, working shifts from 08:00–19:00 on a 2-week rolling rota: Week 1: Monday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday You’ll benefit from a consistent schedule, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to build positive relationships with residents while making a meaningful impact every day. About Kings Hill Kings Hill Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built care facility set in one of Kent’s most thoughtfully designed modern villages. Opening in July 2026, the home has been created from the ground up to support 78 residents with a wide range of needs, including residential, dementia, nursing and respite care. Every aspect of the home reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional standards of safety, comfort and personalised support, enhanced by innovative technology and thoughtfully designed spaces. Situated in the heart of Kings Hill—a thriving community known for its green spaces, safe walkways and strong neighbourhood spirit—the home will be woven into village life. Light, bright and welcoming, the building has been designed to maximise natural light and views of the beautifully landscaped gardens, with spacious balconies providing calm outdoor areas for residents to enjoy. Potential start date is 7th July 2026 Role Responsibilities: Ensure there is a provision of high standard of hospitality service. Support and assist visitors. Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents. Following cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP. To ensure that all training given is adhered to. Ensure records and reports are properly written up. Take responsible for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with. Skills and experience required: Hospitality or catering experience is desirable. Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable. Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team. Prepared to participate in the activities organised in the Home.
