Electrical Design Engineer – Special Purpose Machinery
Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge special purpose machinery?
Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke automation and special purpose machinery, taking projects from concept through to on-site installation. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team. You will play a key role in electrical schematic design, component selection, and system integration, ensuring robust and thoroughly tested solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Produce concept designs for automation and machinery
2. Design electrical schematics, components, and assemblies
3. Develop and test new technologies to improve system performance
4. Take ownership of product development from concept to completion
5. Create assembly drawings and technical documentation
6. Work on machine setup, testing, and demonstration
Key Requirements:
1. Experience in electrical schematic design for industrial applications
2. Proven track record of taking a product from concept to production
3. Industry experience in special purpose machinery, capital equipment, or automation
4. Knowledge of pneumatic systems in automation (desirable)
5. Strong understanding of machine module and frame design
6. Hands-on and practical approach to problem-solving
