About The Role
Crofton Springs is currently recruiting for an Activities Co-ordinator to join the team at our state-of-the-art care home in Cheltenham.
As an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your Responsibilities
1. Planning and implementing engaging activities to delight our Residents.
2. Assisting the Home Manager in organising essential fundraising events.
3. Encouraging Residents to socialise more effectively and involving the care team in activities based on Residents’ hobbies.
What We're Looking For
* A background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes.
* Positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people.
* Excellent planning, organisational, and IT skills.
* Considerate and kind communication with Residents and colleagues.
Additional Requirements
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-specific training. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately.
