Income Maximisation Officer Rate: £216 per day (Umbrella) Contract: 5 Month Ongoing Temporary Contract Working Pattern: Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Income Maximisation Officer to deliver an efficient empty property management and lettings service across residential and non-residential housing assets. This role plays a key part in minimising void turnaround times, maximising rental income, and ensuring housing assets are managed in line with policy, regulation, and best practice. The post holder will manage a varied portfolio including garages, sheds, allocated parking bays, cycle stores, and converted laundry spaces, while working closely with residents, contractors, and internal teams. Responsibilities Manage empty residential properties through the voids and lettings process, including viewings, sign-ups, and coordinating new tenant visits Let non-residential units such as garages, sheds, parking bays, and cycle storage in line with agreed processes Maintain and manage waiting lists for non-residential units Monitor the performance of parking enforcement contractors, handypersons, and repair contractors Respond to correspondence, complaints, Members’ enquiries, FOIs, and Subject Access Requests within remit Provide advice and information to residents on income maximisation services and tenancy-related matters Update housing management systems, databases, audits, and management information accurately Liaise with Tenants & Residents Associations, residents, and partner agencies to resolve parking and estate-related issues Action repossession of non-residential assets where debts remain unpaid and no repayment arrangements are in place Coordinate site visits with external security contractors to enable access for surveyors and contractors Collate compliance documentation to support timely and legally compliant tenancy sign-ups Essential Requirements Experience in income maximisation, housing management, lettings, or voids management Must have experience working in a housing association or council Strong understanding of tenancy management and non-residential housing assets Ability to manage contractors and monitor performance Confident handling correspondence, complaints, and casework Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment PLEASE NOTE: All applications are monitored and shortlisted candidates will be contacted via phone call or email.
