Your new role
They are currently looking for an Audit Manager to join their Internal Audit team in London. Reporting directly to the Vice President, the key responsibilities will involve leading audits within their entities. The role requires subject matter expertise in the areas of underwriting, operations, and multinational business.The successful candidate will collaborate with management across multiple business units and operations, with a specific focus on the UK. The position entails approximately 10% travel to other international office locations. This opportunity offers a chance to be part of a growing organisation and contribute to a global internal audit function.
What you'll need to succeed
Collaborate effectively and cultivate robust relationships with business units and operational areas. Consistently enhance the organization’s appreciation for a vigorous internal control environment. Remain informed about critical regulatory requirements, risks, business shifts, and internal audit trends within designated areas, providing valuable input into the department’s audit plans.
1. Professional Qualification: Possess the CIA, ACA, ACCA, CII, or a similar recognised professional qualification.
2. Autonomous Management: Demonstrate the ability to oversee internal audit areas with minimal guidance.
3. Effectivemunication: Exhibit highly effective interpersonal andmunication skills, including the capacity to write clear and concise observations and reports.
4. Industry Experience: Bring 4 or more years of experience in the insurance industry at Audit Manager level or above.
