The Ideal Person If you are an Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant; At least 2 years' previous experience of working in a financial department A minimum of 5 GCSE's, grades A-C, or equivalent, to include Maths and English Strong spreadsheet skills, specifically Excel Proven record of ability to work to tight deadlines & in a pressurised team-based environment. Responsibilities As an Assistant Accountant you will: Assisting with the preparation of monthly management and statutory accounts Fixed assets register maintenance Monthly/Quarterly cash flow forecasts Bank reconciliations Preparation and posting of general ledger journals Carrying out Balance sheet/control account reconciliations.
