At Avant Skincare, we're looking for a Social Media Manager who thrives on building communities, sparking engagement, and putting brands at the centre of cultural conversations. Beyond posting content, you'll be driving measurable growth, shaping brand voice, and boldly stepping into the spotlight to represent us.
Full time office based role
Location: George street, Edinburgh
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute growth-driven social media strategies (with focus on Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms).
* Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across all key platforms.
* Plan and host live activations (e.g., Instagram Lives) to connect directly with our audience.
* Build relationships with influencers and partners, negotiating and managing collaborations.
* Coordinate and promote digital and in-person brand events that generate buzz.
* Collaborate with press and media to amplify campaigns and secure coverage.
* Actively seek out opportunities to capture outstanding content in diverse environments—whether at restaurants, in the city, outdoors, or on the move.
* Track analytics, report on performance, and optimise for growth.
* Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and competitor moves.
What We're Looking For
* Proven success in managing and growing brand social accounts.
* Strong influencer marketing experience, from concept through reporting.
* Experience organising digital and physical events.
* Confident on-camera presence, representing the brand authentically.
* Excellent copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
* Data-driven mindset with proven ability to optimise performance.
* Press/media experience highly desired.
* Desire to go above and beyond in creating content, with a hands-on approach to capturing experiences wherever inspiration strikes.
Desired Background
* Experience in lifestyle, fashion, or beauty sectors.
* Video editing or graphic design skills.
* Paid social campaign experience.
* Established network of influencer, press, or media contacts.
