Role Overview
SEN / SEND Tutor (Maths, English, or Science) for young people with SEND, SEMH, and other additional educational needs, based in Derbyshire.

Responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring / mentoring session
* Deliver holistic, engaging tuition that meets the learner’s educational and social‑emotional needs
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
Requirements
* Professional teaching qualifications (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or other additional educational needs
* Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if required)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK (required for remote assignments)
Employment Status
This is a Worker position on contract for service, paid via PAYE. It is not a self‑employed tutoring role; there is no set amount of work or expense coverage, but our insurance covers the work you do for us.
