Cornwallis Academy is a ‘Good’ school on the outskirts of Loose, Maidstone with over 1300 students on roll aged 11 to 18. Responsibilities
We are looking to appoint a highly driven and inspirational full-time teacher of Physical Education who would relish the opportunity to become part of our PE Department on a fixed term basis, as soon as possible. The post is suitable for a colleague at the start of their career. The successful candidate will be a creative and inspiring teacher who will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* The ability to teach PE up to KS5, including Level 3 BTEC Sport
* Expertise in planning, assessment and preparing samples for external verification
* An outstanding classroom practitioner who can inspire students
* Recent, relevant teaching experience
* Commitment to drive and develop the extra-curricular programme
