At B. Braun we play a critical part in protecting and improving the lives of patients. We are currently looking for people to work in our Production Unit to help get essential supplies out to our healthcare customers.
We work Sunday Thursday, hours a week, 2pm-10pm. There is a requirement to work 2 Saturdays a year in November/December.
Your salary will be £28, 533. You will receive a shift enhancement after 6pm of time and a third.

Main duties of the job
Here's what you can expect to be doing:
1. Production Checking, ensuring all batch manufacturing records (BMRs) and related production documents are completed prior to Quality Release and all manufactured items have been visually inspected.
2. You will be responsible for providing a reliable and efficient aseptic manufacturing service production check of items made, working within current good manufacturing practice (GMP) guidelines.
3. Identification, investigation, and documentation of deviations and reporting of errors.
4. You will provide support and supervision to Production Operators ensuring that standards are maintained throughout the production process and that products are made to the required specification
What you'll need to succeed:
5. Possess a minimum of a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences and NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Service or an equivalent Science-based qualification.
6. Be registered with a professional body, GPhC, Science Council etc.
7. Have the ability to concentrate for long periods of time and to work effectively independently.
8. Have the ability to work to a high level of accuracy and good attention to detail in a busy environment.

Job responsibilities
35. The post holder will be responsible for providing a reliable and efficient aseptic manufacturing service production check of items made, working within current GMP guidelines.
36. The post holder will provide support and supervision to Production Operators ensuring that standards are maintained throughout the production process and that products are made to the required specification.
37. Activities will include Production checking and the identification and investigation of deviations as part of the Quality Management System.
38. The post holder will undertake skills and knowledge based training in order to achieve required level of competence to fulfil the responsibilities of the post as outlined in the job description
39. Work following SOPs at all times
40. Production Checking, ensuring all BMRs and related production documents are completed prior to Quality Release.

44. To ensure reports from customers relating to product quality complaints or adverse drug reactions are documented and the essential minimum information is collected and forwarded to the Regulatory Affairs Department the same day they are received.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
47. Possess a minimum of a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences and NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Service or an equivalent Science-based qualification

Experience

49. Understanding of GMP as related to Aseptic Services.

53. Dispensary and/or hospital pharmacy experience
54. Experience in providing practical training/coaching.
55. Working knowledge of SAP system or similar computerised stock control system.
56. Working knowledge of Quality Management systems.
57. Presentation Skills.
58. Practical experience of working in Clean room environment.
59. Practical experience in Manufacture of Aseptic Products.
