Our client is a national organisation dedicated to improving public health and strengthening the healthcare workforce. They work closely with education partners, training bodies and health organisations to ensure professionals receive the support and guidance needed throughout their careers. They are now looking for a Policy Manager to help shape and deliver policies that drive meaningful change across the health sector.
As a Policy Manager, you will:
* Design and develop policies that support healthcare education, training and workforce improvement
* Produce clear and accessible policy documents, guidance and reports
* Lead research and analysis to inform decision making and identify future priorities
* Collaborate with universities, training partners and public health bodies on policy initiatives
* Contribute to national discussions on healthcare education and workforce issues
* Coordinate consultations, engagement sessions and feedback activity
* Manage policy projects from concept through to delivery
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure policies are aligned and effectively implemented
* Provide insight and recommendations to senior leadership on emerging trends
What we’re looking for:
* Experience developing or delivering policy within public health, education, government or similar environments
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insight into practical recommendations
* Excellent written communication, with experience producing high quality papers or reports
* Confident working with a range of stakeholders and building productive relationships
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions focused approach
* Understanding of data handling, equality, governance and organisational policy frameworks
