Salary and Benefits
Salary £35k to £40k dependent upon experience + potential bonus + 12 flexible days in addition to holiday entitlement + other benefits.
Position Summary
We are recruiting for a Contract and Bid Manager as part of the Sales Digital Transformation initiative. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Excellence, you will drive, develop and acquire new contracted business across Nestlé Professional categories in target channels, and retain existing key customer contracts. You will be responsible for managing all customer contracts via C4C (Sales CRM) and the Nestlé Professional online tender desk.
Responsibilities
* Own the Tender process, linking with Sales Teams, Nestlé in the Market (NIM) and Business Support to ensure submission timelines are met
* Build Tender / Contract pipeline
* Manage central documentation for long-term contracts
* Report on One Nestlé key customer tender opportunities
* Enable Sales to win more new business by providing best-in-class tender materials and collateral via an online Tender Desk
* Deliver the WOW factor in key customer contract and tender proposals; engage internal contacts across NiM (Legal, Finance, Health & Safety, Supply Chain, Regulatory, etc.) to ensure the contract process is audit compliant
* Provide monthly visibility of key contracts (Acquire, Develop, Retain) through the MBP process; communicate contract performance and align resources across functions
* Post-evaluation of all tenders and contracts, and share learnings with stakeholders
* Externally network with priority RTM customers and industry bodies to ensure visibility of major Out Of Home contracts
* Keep the Nestlé Professional Contract Library up to date with relevant materials and certifications
What Will Make You Successful
* Sales/Commercial experience, ideally within FMCG
* Strong commercial acumen and project management skills; ability to lead virtual multi-functional teams
* Experience creating compelling customer propositions
* Proven track record of evaluating activity and making recommendations based on outcomes
* Analytical mindset; able to use insights effectively
* Legal or contracts experience
* Understanding of commercial and financial situations
* Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
* Strong, adaptable communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads
* Creative flair to identify new and effective ways of making contract pitches using digital tools
