Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Lecturer in Engineering to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students. This role involves planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting students to achieve their academic and professional goals. The Lecturer will also contribute to curriculum development and work collaboratively with the academic team to enhance the Engineering program. Please note this is a contract-based, on-site role at our Wisbech campus.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in engineering principles, concepts, and their practical application
* Proven experience in instructional delivery, lesson planning, and classroom management
* Capability in assessment methods, providing constructive feedback, and tracking student performance
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and engaging instruction
* Experience in curriculum development and collaboration with academic teams
* Relevant qualifications in Engineering (Bachelors or Masters level), with teaching qualifications such as PGCE or equivalent preferred
* Prior industry or teaching experience in Engineering is highly advantageous
