We are seeking a values-driven, technically competent postgraduate Design Engineer with a strong interest in HVAC systems and renewable technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-performance, energy-efficient and compliant building services solutions, while contributing to the development and expansion of our internal design capability.
Bell Plumbing Solutions provides a fully integrated turnkey HVAC design and technical consultancy service embedded in one the fastest growing plumbing merchants in the West Midlands. We are a leading building services industry supplier of technical application of renewable heating and HVAC products. As demand for our solutions continues to grow, we are expanding our Technical Services Team to support strategic business development and enhanced customer capability.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide a solid understanding of the various HVAC products our company specify, which includes 'The Unico System' air conditioning, as well as various heat pump technologies, controls and system management products.
2. Provide a genuine desire to continuously learn and develop their personal understanding of new and existing technologies that deliver benefit our customers.
3. Use design software and various manual solutions to develop and design HVAC systems proposed by the solutions team.
4. Liaise with our key suppliers, customers and industry associations to ensure full compliance with current UK building regulations, CIBSE and SAP assessments.
5. Help select and source appropriate design software and project management tools
6. Provide technical support and documentation for our associated products and training facilities
7. Making sure that all our products and services meet health and safety requirements, UK building regulations and environmental legislation
8. Liaising with heating engineers, plumbers, electricians, surveyors, architects and other construction professionals
9. Provide input to company presentations, reports & supporting documentation
10. Provide excellent customer service: telephone manner, verbal & written communication
11. Provide a collaborative approach to working in a team, and be prepared to support all internal departments and attend industry events and exhibitions when required.

Qualifications and / or training required:
Building services or Mechanical Engineering Degree
AutoCAD Design (nice to have)
Microsoft Office (good understanding)
Accredited or association with an appropriate professional body, such as CIBSE or CIPHE.
Industry-related work experience would be a benefit but not essential.
