Personal Tax Senior – Friendly Accountancy Practice | Kent | £35,000 – £50,000 (DOE) + Benefits

About the Firm:
This well-respected Kent-based accountancy firm prides itself on its tailored approach to client service and its welcoming, collaborative team culture. Working with a broad client base, they offer comprehensive tax planning and compliance services, always focusing on adding value and simplifying complex tax matters.

The Role:
As a Personal Tax Senior, you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, providing high-quality compliance services and advisory support on a range of personal tax matters. You’ll work closely with both clients and the wider team to ensure deadlines are met and opportunities for tax efficiency are identified.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing personal tax compliance for a portfolio of clients, including HNWIs, sole traders, partnerships, and directors
* Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns
* Providing tax planning advice on areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and trusts
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear and concise tax advice
* Assisting with HMRC enquiries and investigations
* Supporting junior team members and contributing to their development

About You:

* ATT qualified (CTA desirable but not essential)
* Solid experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice
* Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
* A proactive, organised, and team-oriented approach
