You'll be part of a collaborative environment where modern engineering practices and user-first thinking are at the heart of delivery.This role is ideal for experienced Data Engineers with a strong Azure background who enjoy variety, technical challenges, and building long-term value for clients.The Role:As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you'll work across multiple client environments-enhancing pipelines, resolving performance issues, and driving improvements in cloud data infrastructure.
You'll collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, taking ownership of technical decisions while ensuring stability and scalability across platforms.Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimise data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and Microsoft FabricSupport production environments, troubleshoot issues, and implement monitoring solutionsLead on CI/CD for data workflows and support infrastructure automationWork closely with clients to understand data needs and deliver solutions that add real valueMentor junior engineers and contribute to internal best practice developmentAbout You: Strong experience in data engineering within Azure ecosystemsHands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, T-SQL, and SSISConfident with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOpsComfortable supporting production systems and proactively managing performance and reliabilityAble to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience in Agile delivery environments with a consultancy or client-facing background preferredDesirable: Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates)Exposure to Power BI, Synapse Analytics, or Microsoft FabricScripting experience in Python for automation or transformationFamiliarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor or Log AnalyticsExperience with ITSM tools (e.g. HaloPSA, ServiceNow)Benefits Include: 25 days holiday + UK public holidays6% employer pension contributions (2% employee)Critical illness cover, life assurance, and death in servicePrivate health, dental, or additional pension contributions via flexible benefitsElectric vehicle and cycle-to-work schemesWellbeing allowance and Perkbox discountsWork Style:Hybrid working model - typically up to 2 days on-site per week depending on client needs.
