Instead of having our Advance Practice Physiotherapists within GP practices, they will be integrated into our MSK service, creating a skill mixed workforce and supportive learning environment. We will offer early and easy access to patients with musculoskeletal problems direct to our service, enabling them to start and continue their journey within our team. The Role
The successful candidate will take a lead role for a designated clinical area with a caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge. They will have responsibility for the supervision, education and development of more junior staff, physiotherapy support workers and students within the speciality. The post holder will provide a specialised resource to other healthcare staff/patients/carers and will have an active involvement in Clinical Governance and Clinical Effectiveness and Research

What we'll need you to bring
1. Registered Physiotherapist with valid HCPC Registration
2. Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
3. Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice.
5. Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality / area of practice.
6. Leadership skills to enable the day to day management of service delivery.
7. Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification
