What you will be doing:
Fabricating, installing and pressure testing small-bore pipework
Using a range of hand tools & mechanical equipment to cut, bend and weld pipes as well as installation of pipework.
Install and assemble fittings, valves, manifolds and related components according to drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with other trades to ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects.
Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures at all times
Maintain accurate records of work carried out
Carry out pressure testing on pipework to PT-1
Carry out instrumentation and pipe work upgrades for gas distribution for Cadent, Northern gas network and National grid AGIs and National grid compressor sites
Who we are looking for:
Modern Apprenticeship certificate/Trade Papers (you will be required to provide these papers) and relevant qualifications (e.g., SVQ3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture, installation, and use of associated equipment
Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and safety standards
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Clear understanding of SHE, COSHH and Risk Assessments
Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar within an industrial or commercial environment.

SCO 1 & 2 (EUSR)
Experience with Swagelok Fittings and Installation
