Senior Interior Architect
Location: Belgravia, London
Salary: £55,000 (Negotiable based on experience)
Start Date: December 2025, or as soon as possible
Overview:
Our High-end Residential Interior Design studio is seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient Senior Interior Architect to lead design projects in their growing team.
The role will be responsible for managing high-profile, luxury developments in the UK and the US, specifically focusing on projects in London & New York. This position is ideal for a professional with strong technical and aesthetic design expertise, particularly in AutoCAD, (with Revit being a benefit), who is capable of working independently and taking on a leadership role within a small team environment.
You will join an established team and will be responsible for overseeing design initiatives while collaborating closely with a mid-weight designer and a junior interior architect. The team also includes an FF&E specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design of luxury interior architecture projects across multiple regions, particularly in the UK and New York.
* Oversee and guide project teams, ensuring high standards of design and technical execution.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver high-quality interiors within budget and timeline constraints.
* Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
* Utilise AutoCAD and other design tools to create detailed architectural plans and visualizations.
* Ensure all work aligns with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development.
* Maintain a regular presence in the office to collaborate with the team and ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Senior Interior Architect, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-end, luxury interior projects.
* Extensive knowledge of interior architecture, with a keen eye for both technical and aesthetic details.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
* Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in leading and mentoring design teams.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and project stakeholders.
* Self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to be regularly present in the office to ensure smooth project management and collaboration.
Preferred Experience:
* Experience working on luxury residential projects.
* Familiarity with FF&E and related processes.
* A background in projects involving architectural interiors, with a focus on high-end, custom design work.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Competitive salary of £55,000
