Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures and systems. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments, including residential and commercial settings.
Duties
* Assemble and install plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
* Plumb various appliances such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on existing plumbing systems.
* Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion.
* Weld pipes as necessary for specific installations or repairs.
* Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks
* Apply basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during projects.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations may be beneficial for transporting tools and materials.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Valid driver's licence is required

Pay: £16.00-£25.68 per hour
