Regional Garden Centre Manager

Hours Per Week: 45 Hours per Week Including Weekends

We are looking for a Regional Garden Centre Manager to join our forward‑thinking team. Working with the Garden Centre is a high‑volume environment with a fast turnaround. The successful candidate should have proven regional managerial experience, be a highly motivated hands‑on individual with a passion for exceptional retail standards, driving sales and great customer service, and be able to motivate a team of managers and supervisors to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines. The role covers multiple Garden Centre sites in Lancashire, Cheshire & Lake District. As a Regional Garden Centre Manager, you will manage, lead, inspire and develop an amazing team and ensure all customers have a great in‑store experience.

Skills required
* Experience as an area or multi‑site manager in a busy high‑volume retailer
* The ability to identify and build strong people and teams
* Strong financial and commercial acumen – managing multiple P & L accounts
* Positive, clear communication and a skilled, motivated people manager
* Skilled at succession planning and performance management
* A solution‑oriented thinker with excellent problem‑solving skills
* High standards and a keen eye for detail
* A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
* The ability to prioritise and manage your own time
* Passion and drive to succeed and deliver results
* IT literate and able to comply with systems and processes
Duties
* Manage and support the Garden Centre Managers in your region
* Provide leadership, direction, motivation and organisation
* Oversee recruitment of staff in your region
* Ensure that costs, budgets, labour and stock are in line
* Troubleshoot and prioritise tasks
* Report to the Group Operations Director and attend meetings to discuss performance
* Inspire the teams to deliver excellent service and consistent results
* Implement and work to company targets and KPIs
* Maintain company system and procedures
