Office Administrator – Liverpool (6-month contract) Britbet is a partnership of 58 racecourses across the UK, delivering betting services to racegoers under the Britbet and Tote brands. We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our Head Office team in Liverpool, supporting our Operations, Recruitment and Finance functions. What you’ll do Office Administration: Manage calls, emails, post and day-to-day enquiries Investigate and track lost or late customer ticket payments Arrange collection and delivery of cash floats to racecourses Support race meetings nationwide (staff passes, uniforms, accommodation) Recruitment Support: Track candidate progress for racecourse roles Support onboarding process (right-to-work checks and documentation) Inbound/outbound calls and emails What we’re looking for Strong organisational skills Excellent attention to detail Confident communicator Good customer service/telephony skills Positive, proactive approach Team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment Benefits 25 days holiday bank holidays (pro rata) Pension scheme Free on-site parking Sick pay Casual dress Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity for contract extension or permanent role Hours Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day) Salary/Contract £27,000 pa (pro rata) 6 month fixed term (potential for permanent contract)
