We provide full on-the-job training, so while experience in secure logistics is desirable, it’s not essential. What You’ll Be Doing: Completing delivery run sheets and uploading accurate information. Carrying out secure collections and deliveries in line with operating procedures and maintaining proper documentation Adhering to security and health and safety protocols Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any defects Delivering high levels of customer service with a professional appearance Verifying freight accuracy during loading/ unloading Ensuring timely scanning and reporting of delivery and collections data Undertake additional duties, or assist other members of staff, as may be reasonably requested by the Manager and Directors Assisting with the smooth running of the Company’s transport department What We’re Looking For: Essential: Full UK driving licence Confident communicator with good written and spoken English Excellent time management and the ability to meet daily operational targets and tight deadlines Intermediate skills using smartphones and basic apps (e.g., Outlook, POD scanning) Smart, professional appearance and high personal standards with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues A dependable team player who takes pride in their work Data management in order to keep accurate records for the department Desirable: Knowledge of the airport Mindset Matters: We’re seeking individuals who: Follow procedures and uphold compliance standards Act with integrity and accountability Take ownership of their role and responsibilities Communicate with clarity and respect A growth mindset in order to embrace learning and continuous professional improvement Be proactive in recognising where change and improvements need to be made Pre-Employment Checks: Due to the secure nature of this role, all candidates must undergo: Basic DBS (criminal record) check 5-year employment reference check (with all gaps accounted for) Driving licence verification Recruitment process: Screening call with HR Face to Face interview Offer (Subject to compliance checks) *no agency contact please* Location: Colnbrook and Sunbury We care about our employees so here is what we have to offer to support you!
